NunKnucks (2026) is a mash up of two childhood icons, brass knuckles and nunchucks or nunchaku, that enters the realm of the absurd in that the nunchucks are made unusable by the addition of the brass knuckles, and the chain only further shackles the hands of the person wearing them. Two versions are listed below, short: NunKnucks v.1 (2026) and long: NunKnucks v.2 (2026).
NunKnucks (2026) is part of the “crass knuckle” series that represents over-engineered wearable brass knuckles considering aesthetics and ergonomics but overlooking functionality in such a way that the functionality becomes useless. In some instances the crass knuckles might be meaningless or reference itself in form, design, material, or function.
